Richard Lawrence Danielson, 69, of Ocean View died Oct. 27, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Massapequa, N.Y., he was a commercial fishing boat builder in Kailua-Kona and U.S. Army veteran. Inurnment with military honors at noon Oct. 27 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona. Survived by sons, Zachary Danielson of Kailua-Kona and Morgan Montgomery of Lahaina, Maui; sister, Esther (Andy) Danielson-Berger of Norfolk, N.C.; brother, Kenneth Danielson; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Moses Kalilikane Jr., 75, of Holualoa died Oct. 13 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a coffee farmer, fisherman, auto mechanic and charter boat deckhand. No services planned. Vladimir Prokofievich Lantukhov, 79, of Kealakekua died Oct. 15. Born in Stavropol, Russia, he was an oral surgeon and dentist. Memorial service held. Emily Borero Rhodes, 79, of Pepeekeo died Sept. 4 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired bartendress for numerous bars in Hilo and Honolulu. Private services to be held. Ricardo “Richard” “Rich” G. Salinas, 57, of Hilo died Oct. 8 at home. Born in Chicago, he was the owner and electrician for R&R Electric and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Yukiko Watanabe, 97, of Kealakekua died Sept. 19 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Kurtistown, she was an elementary school teacher.
